Remote Live Recording

Tree Sound Studios is now offering a live concert recording service. We will come to your performance equipped to capture your band with the same professional gear and personnel that you will find in our state of the art recording facility. Recording is done to a 24 channel Otari RADAR system, using preamps from API, Neve, and Universal Audio. We can come with microphones from our mic locker, or show up ready to just plug into your band or the venues existing setup. The audio we capture is isolated from the P.A. system, eliminating any noise issues that may be present as well as keeping the live recording signal path as clean as possible.

After the recording has taken place we then transfer the audio into our Pro Tools systems here at the studio. Your performance will then be mixed and mastered, getting the full treatment in Studio A. You will walk away with a CD of your live recording, ready for duplication, broadcast, or archival purposes. Tree Sound has many years of experience capturing and mixing live shows, having produced live recordings for Collective Soul, Dave Matthews, Train, Fall Out Boy, Death Cab for Cutie, 30 Seconds to Mars, and many others.
